What this measures
Their Avg Place is how the players who force a comp place on it. vs everyone is that against the comp’s own average over everybody who played it, which is on its page: a green arrow is a comp that pays for knowing it, a red one is a comp that plays worse for the people most attached to it. Neither is a grade — a comp can be forced well and still be a bad comp, and the letter for that is on the comp’s own page.
We never learn who any of these players are. Each one is a one-way pseudonym, so the same person can be counted across days and named on no day; what is counted is how many distinct pseudonyms spend most of their sampled games on one comp. A player who plays a little of everything counts for nothing, which is the point — this is the opposite measurement to a play rate.
